How hard it is to admit that you are not a winner. With hatred and disdain we look at the TV screen where a hero, like Mr. Stallone saves the world for the hundredth time. This is of course unreal and everyone who watches a movie knows that there are no supermen in the world. There are problems and conflicts, fights and contests and many other things, the attitude towards which is particularly subjective. The majority has the plan not to fight, to get or to conquer, but to parasite on others lives and feel safe and secure behind a square-shouldered friend that happily takes the burden of your life on his shoulders. There are no worries, no conflicts, and no reasons to loose temper. And they say it is the best way to survive. The statistics shows that these people live with hatred in their hearts, with hatred towards those who covered their faults. The majority lacks stand will to stand up to the hardships of life and publicly disdain but secretly admire and feel jealous of those who decided to change their lives. This is what brevity means.
We are so wrapped up in layers of routine performances that forget what we live for. We get up early, have breakfast and go to work not because this is what we want but what we're used to. The struggle between the desires and obligations doesn't even exist now, there is no choice to make any more. We call those who have the courage to change the job, get divorced, and start a new life, crazy. But deep inside we admire those people and feel jealous of their stamina. They do not quit struggling when first problems appear. They continue to find solutions to problems even when the situation seems rather hard. They are respected for the ability to resurrect their desires and follow the call of their heart. It is rather hard to make a choice that harms your former reputation, financial situation and other important aspects that determine you position in the society.
Having read a lot of fairy-tales being children we know legends about a mirror of two sides. The reality is quite similar. Indeed, every decision has two different poles. On one there is recognition, fame, independence, freedom and other pleasant features that make you stand out of the crowd. People require courage not only saving the planet, but also standing up to daily problems and changing their life.
